  • Today I was proclaimed to be one of the Top 5 Weirdest People Service Knows.  Unfortunately, I was not named number one.  I wonder if that's something I can work on.....
Watch what you say, you can be sued for libel in a weblog.  So stop posting about how Mary slept with Hank just cause you hate her.  Now, if you actually watched them....
We work so hard to be mature.  We have to hold spoons and forks just right, we keep quiet about all sorts of things, and we still fail to be mature.  There's more that I want to say, but it's not coming together in my head right now.  So what does it mean to be mature?

  • growing up is a sign of your soul's slow death.

  • Good luck figuring out the thoughts in your head. That’s a hard task to accomplish.

Anyways, on the maturity question. . . let my consult my handing dandy KU Dictionary. (three minutes latter) Well, that didn’t help. I guess I would define maturity as being able to face the challenges of life (both the expected and the unexpected) with a minimal amount of resistance. Taking care of what needs to be taken care of in a sensible manor. I could probably spend years pondering this and trying to come up with a more accurate and precise answer but this one will suffice for now.

  • You'd have to go to http://www.mugglenet.com and read the whole story... Some retarded lady is trying to get the books taken out of the schools, so she uses school shootings as an example of evil... and something about saying Harry Potter was the same sort of evil or some bullshit like that...

  • I think maturity is the ability to confront, conform, and connect. We have to be able to recognize something is wrong when something is hurting us in some way, and confront it in a civil and correct manner. I think we need to conform to laws to be considered "mature" in society's eyes, but sometimes I think society is just blind. We also gain the ability to connect with other human beings, and see problems before they happen rather than just watch as someone pulls that oh, so important card out of the pyramid.
