  • The Windows defragmenter does do just fine, but it only works when you tell it to run. When I run Windows, I use Diskeeper. It monitors for fragmentation, runs when it’s needed, and automatically pauses when it detects disk access (so it doesn’t slow down other apps). It’s made by the same people who make the Windows Defrag, so it’s all easy and integrated and whatnot.

    I don’t know what you guys are doing to need more than 512 MB of RAM, even on Windows. You need to dump some of that spyware. LOL

    And, no, downgrading to Windows 98 is not an option, Scott. It never was. Use Windows Vista or better (Any Linux, BSD, or Mac OS made since Windows 2000 came out… :) )
