  • Storytime

Right now I'm studying to be an electrical engineer.  I feel like it's the place I was destined to be.  This weekend I heard a story that, remarkably, I'd never heard before.  When I was about one year old, I took the power cable for the electric skillet, placed it in the microwave, and turned the microwave on.  It was one of the microwaves where you have to press, time, enter the numbers, and then press start.  I found the story amusing enough to pass on to the rest of you in lieu of an actual attempt at posting.

  • So is an electrical engineer like an electrician with a God complex?

  • Okay, so, maybe destiny doesn't care about one-year olds...

  • I would, only I don't have a car. And I think it'd be a lil' creepy if I walked/hitchiked my way up there. I know! Let's plan a field trip! : D

  • Power cable for the electrical skillet in the microwave?  I think that definitely goes to show that you have not changed since you were one year old.  That of course means that you most likely were destined to be an EE.
