  • 21 and bald(ing)

It is still quite hard to come to terms with the fact that I am going bald.  It's not the hit to my image, cause most of my image is made up of my antics.  I think it's just the fact that CHANGE is on the horizon.  I mean, I've had my hair since I was, well, younger than I can remember.

Human beings don't really deal with change that well.  Or maybe it's just me.  When the honey-mustard sauce isn't exactly where it was yesterday, my lunch is ruined.  And then one day, they moved the pink lemonade to the other side of the line.  That is still messing with my meals.  So while the thought of a bald me doesn't really bother me, the change disturbs me.

  • I also do not like change!  I have found though, that it can be good for you, you can grow a lot from it and although it can be traumatizing or nerve wracking at first, it can be for the better.  I just changed jobs after 20 years, it is now so worth it!  I ended up with a job that gives me every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, making more money and 1/4 of the distance from home.  So my advice to you is to try to keep an open mind and a good attitude about change.

  • I have a tough time with change too... I like it but at the same time it really bothers me. And just when I adjust... another change takes place and I'm all screwed up again.

  • What I hate the most is when mom rearranges the kitchen.  Then when I come home and want a glass of water or a peanut butter sandwich, it takes me about 5 minutes just to find a glass, plate, or knife.  Which completely ruins my appetite, also.

  • Change is tough.

  • Well, the change to actually being 21 wasn't too tough.  I enjoyed that change.  Just got back from the really changed part, and I can still stand up straight.  Mostly.
